Boost For Dementia Unit At The Woodlands

30th January 2019

Dementia patients in Rotherham have received a £157 boost, thanks to staff from Lotus Home Care.

Lotus Home Care had a stall at the recent Rotherham Show and held a tombola to raise cash for The Woodlands, a purpose built unit for people aged over 65, who have mental health needs.

The unit is run by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH). Lesley McLaughlin-Elliot, regional manager of Lotus Home Care’s Rotherham branch, presented the cheque. Dianne Graham, RDaSH’s Rotherham Director, said:

“I want to thank the women for raising this money for us. Every penny will be spent on our patients.”
