We are experiencing a global pandemic never seen before in our lifetimes.

There are so many people out there that have pulled together, either working in the community, volunteers, NHS staff and also our army of Carer staff.

For many years Care workers have not been recognised for the service they provide, often undermined, with their roles very much not understood.

Lotus Home Carers are the backbone of this company, dedicated, compassionate, caring and determined. They deliver a variety of services for a whole range of people from the very minimal yet crucial – Administering medication – to caring for those that are end of life, making them comfortable and as free of pain as possible.

Just like other front line staff such as Doctors, Nurses, Shop assistant’s ensuring we receive our food safely, petrol attendants ensuring our care staff can get to their clients and the cleaners who are doing everything they can to make sure our hospitals, clinics and Home Care settings are free of this virus, our Carers are so important to hundreds of people across Yorkshire and the East riding.

We want to say a massive thank you to all our hardworking, dedicated Lotus Home Care carers out there, we are so proud of you all, you are doing everything you can to ensure all our clients remain safe, cared for and reassured. We in return have given you a pay rise which now exceeds the £10 per hour rate and will ensure you have all the equipment you need to do your work safely.
